**ob Summary:**
The seamstress main responsibility is to alter and tailor uniform garments based on customer orders and on specifications within the set timeframe.
**Duties and Responsibilities:**
Fit, alter and tailor uniform garments according to customer's orders and specifications by hand or using sewing machines, collar dog machines, blind stitching and surging machines.

Read and understand garment instructions on the customer's purchase w orders of alteration of garments to determine type of alteration.

Assemble orders which includes iron steaming, folding and packing
Other duties as assigned
**Experience and Education:**
Completion of secondary school
Demonstrate the ability to sew, alter and repair garments
Experience operating industrial sewing machines and steam iron machines (Blind stich, surging and collar dog machines)
