This role is a key driver of production efficiency, energy management, and continuous improvement across the plant.ResponsibilitiesLead the plant Production Department to achieve high‑quality product and surpass production and efficiency goals, including equipment production rates, energy conservation, and greenhouse gas reduction.Serve as a member of the Energy Management Team (NRG) to develop cost‑effective and environmentally responsible programs.Communicate plant and company goals to employees in a clear and timely manner.Provide leadership, coaching, and support to department employees; resolve worker grievances in partnership with Human Resources.Model leadership, teamwork, customer focus, continuous improvement, safety, and environmental stewardship to align with the company’s vision.Build and maintain partnerships between plant departments and company peer groups.Participate in business plan development and financial budgeting.Establish and define short‑term objectives with logical action plans; anticipate problems andadjust plans as needed.Plan long‑term operational improvement projects, prepare specifications, and ensure component parts fit overall design.Review production orders and schedules to determine product types, quantities,



and delivery dates for operational planning.Plan production operations, set priorities, and sequence manufacturing processes.Prepare operational schedules and coordinate manufacturing activity.Review production and operating reports, resolve problems, and prevent operational delays.Inspect machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance and utilization.Develop or revise standard operating procedures and work practices.Compile, store, and retrieve production data.Solve problems creatively to meet customer and internal departmental needs.Improve operational efficiency and devise new systems or procedures; generate innovative solutions to production or equipment issues.Read, analyze, interpret, and synthesize documents such as safety rules, maintenance instructions, and regulatory requirements.Speak and deliver persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, customers, and management at all levels.QualificationsUniversity degree (Engineering preferred) or equivalent combination of education and 4‑6 years of experience.Strong motivation, sense of urgency,
