Help us raise the expectation of what an agriculture company can be and grow your career with Nutrien.This position reports to the Sr Electrical Engineering Technologist.What you will do:Troubleshoot and perform maintenance on Mining Equipment including onboard PLC’s / Protection and Control / HMI equipmentTroubleshoot and perform maintenance on Material Handling and Hoisting equipmentAssist electricians in installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of underground electrical control systemsCreate and modify of project work packages including procedures, commissioning lists, bills of materials, and training documentsWork with equipment with voltage ratings up to 25KVWork with a multidisciplinary team to achieve goalsParticipate in using and promoting the safety systems in placeWork on a shift schedule, includes working days, nights,



and weekendsWork in an underground settingWhat you will bring:Skilled in Allen-Bradley and Schneider PLC and HMI programming and troubleshootingProficient in RS Studio, FactoryTalk SE/ME, Unity, CodeSysFamiliar with Protection Relays and Control DevicesFamiliar with industrial networking including Cat5e, switching, and industrial protocols (MODBUS, CIP, ETH/IP)Experience in fiber optics, L3 routing, wireless, Cisco IOS programming an assetFamiliar and able to work secure in an Industrial EnvironmentCommunicating with multidisciplinary group in a complex production environmentAccredited Electrical Engineering Technologist or Electrical EngineerExperience in heavy industry, in particular underground mining, is an assetReady to make an impact with us?
