The Business System Analyst is responsible for reporting, data integrity, and testing to ensure security of data and compliance in terms of system functionality. This role is a subject matter expert on our dispatch systems, and internal reporting tools.

Responsibilities

- Configure, manage, maintain, and continuously improve the business application in support of business process
- Ensure that all applicable system features and functionality are leveraged
- Provide subject matter knowledge and problem-solving abilities
- Manage environment to ensure integrity, performance, accessibility, and recoverability of data.
- Day to Day monitoring and reporting on the use and utilization of and the quality of the data within the system
- Supports application life cycle work which can include patching, upgrades, testing, etc.
- Develop and deliver user training
- In-house, first level support to resolve application or data issues
- Develop and deliver ad hoc reporting in support of user community and leadership
- Work with visual analytics tools to produce insight from operational system

Qualifications

- Undergraduate Degree preferred




- 2-5 years of relevant experience
- Super user of Cognos and TMW
- Demonstrates high attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and pivot from one initiative to the next
- Can manage changing priorities in a quick-paced environment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Must be team oriented and an independent self-starter
- Experience in Transportation & Logistics Industry would be considered an asset
