Marie, Sudbury, Guelph, Toronto, Peterborough.To respond to the priorities of the Government of Ontario through the passage of the Bill 5, Protect Ontario by Unleashing Our Economy Act 2025, the resource may be partially assigned to Bill 5 related projects or initiatives on an as needed basis.ResponsibilitiesApplied to both the process and the outcome of thinking out and specifying the overall structure, logical components, and the logical interrelationships of a solution, product, and/or service, ensuring compliance with Government of Ontario - IT Standards (GO-ITS).Defines the structure and relationship among applications, including the identification of re-usable components, quality level metrics, the organization and layering of software, and the determination of interfaces.Responsibilities also include developing, implementing and managing at least one cross-platform application in a large and distributed environment, monitor the whole system, understand all interactions between components on a given level of abstraction, as well as to define limitations and requirements for source code.Defines the interactions between application packages, databases and middleware systems.General SkillsExperience in the development and implementation of application architectures at the specified experience levelExtensive experience with at least two different computing platforms, operating systems, environments, database technologies, programming languages and communication protocolsExperience with middleware and gateways Knowledge of performance considerations in different environmentsExperience in structured methodologies for the design, development and implementation of applicationsExtensive experience in systems analysis and design in large systems environmentsExperience in the use of development tools,
