The role will be a key support member for the Canadian retail banking line of business. Working alongside an agile team responsible for managing portfolios related to personal deposits and retail lending. This role will work closely with a close-knit team consisting of senior managers, managers, and legal entity experts. The candidate will contribute to day-to-day deliverables, project support, and overall portfolio management.Role ResponsibilitiesFinancial Modeling and Maintenance:Collaborate with senior management to understand and implement updatesPerform maintenance and updates of financial/data modelsExecute monthly roll-overs,



ensuring accurate data ingestion and alignment with business requirementsReporting and Presentation:Analyze financial data to ensure accuracy, and identify trends and variancesPrepare/update financial presentations for business review, using tools like PowerPointActive Requests and Support:Collect and process data to assist with inquiries from different business groupsPerform day-to-day investigations and provide timely supportGenerate reports for distribution to various business unitsRetrieve information from existing models and databases to fulfill requestsAd Hoc Projects:Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in taking on new challengesSupport day-to-day investigations, generate models or reports as requested, and contribute to team objectivesMust Have Skills/QualificationsMinimum of approximately 3 years of relevant experienceBachelor’s degree in accounting or other finance-related disciplineFinancial Modeling & Data AnalysisHigh proficiency using MS Office Apps such as PowerPoint and Excel (Pivot tables, VLookups, various functions)Investigative and problem-solving approach, contributes ideasWell-rounded, versatile, and adaptive as the candidate may need to contribute to tasks beyond their primary portfolioPositive attitude and eager to learn#J-18808-Ljbffr
