Position: Senior Technology Architect

Duration: 1 Year assignment (contract)
Client Location: Toronto (Onsite: 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)

About the Engagement

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior Technology Architect to support enterprise digital strategy, technology planning, business case development, and modernization initiatives across enterprise cloud and on-premises environments.

The successful consultant will provide strategic technology leadership, conduct enterprise assessments, develop technology roadmaps, evaluate modernization opportunities, and prepare executive-level recommendations to support technology investment and transformation decisions. This role requires extensive experience in enterprise architecture, strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, business case development, and hybrid cloud strategy.

Scope

Conduct current-state assessments of enterprise cloud and on-premises products and services, including technical, operational, financial, and capability evaluations.

Lead strategic options analyses, stakeholder consultations, jurisdictional scans, and cost-benefit assessments.

Develop enterprise digital strategies, technology roadmaps, modernization plans, and implementation recommendations.

Lead business case development, investment analyses, and executive decision-support materials.

Assignment Deliverables

Enterprise digital strategy documents and strategic planning artifacts.

Current-state assessments and technology landscape analyses.

Strategic options analyses,



jurisdictional scans, and cost-benefit assessments.

Enterprise technology roadmaps and modernization plans.

Expertise Required

Must Have:

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Technical Architect with expertise in enterprise strategy development.

Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience conducting strategic options analyses, including stakeholder engagement, jurisdictional scans, cost-benefit analyses, and investment assessments.

Experience developing enterprise digital strategies, technology roadmaps, and business cases for large, complex IT environments.

Experience conducting current-state assessments and evaluating strategic technology options.

Experience developing strategy and architecture designs for hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.

Strong experience preparing executive-level recommendations and supporting strategic decision-making.

Nice to Have:

Experience with enterprise architecture methodologies and frameworks.

Experience working within large public-sector or highly regulated environments.
