Sinai Health is looking for a Physiotherapist to support our Rehabilitation department at our Mount Sinai Hospital Campus. The duties of this staff Physiotherapists are primarily clinical. This role will support coverage 2 days/week (primarily Wednesday and Thursday) across rotating clinical areas.

In this role you will:

- Assess, planand provide therapeutic intervention for an assigned patient caseload according to physiotherapy scope of practice.
- Compile appropriate documentation of physiotherapy activities
- Record workload measurement
- SupervisePhysiotherapy Assistants as per college guidelines
- Participate in inter-professional clinics, rounds and discussions
- Participate in teaching students from other disciplines
- Mentorfellow colleagues, if appropriate
- Perform other duties consistent with the job classification as required

Job Requirements

Mandatory

- Currently registered and in good standing with the with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario




- Strong experience in interdisciplinary education

Preferred

- 1 year of experience in the treatment of clients/patients
- Membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association

Skills and Knowledge

- Excellent physiotherapy clinical skills with a broad variety of diagnostic groups including skills working with a geriatric population
- Experience and skill in complex decision making processes and in advancing best practice initiatives and exploration of innovative models of care
- Experience in self-reflective learning and skill in ability to adapt and respond effectively to change
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; skilled, diplomatic and confident with a proven ability to work with individuals across all levels of the organization and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated satisfactory work performance and attendance history
