In this part-time position, you'll provide recreation and leisure opportunities tailored to each resident's care plan. This role requires flexibility and a passion for improving the lives of older adults within the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and implement recreational activities aligned with care plans
• Assist residents with leisure activities and outings
• Encourage residents to share their skills and knowledge




• Identify therapeutic recreation goals for residents
• Document and adjust based on residents' preferences
Requirements:
• Diploma in recreation, kinesiology, or related field
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Understanding of programming for seniors with dementia
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
• Successful completion of a Vulnerable Sector Check
