As a Parts Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the parts department and ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of parts to local body shops. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams.
Job Duties:
Receive, organize, and maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing parts
Assist in tracking and managing inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock
Communicate with Parts Manager regarding inventory needs
Process parts orders for internal departments and external customers
Verify order accuracy and ensure timely fulfillment
Assist in returns and warranty processes
Efficiently deliver parts to the body shop in a timely manner
Provide excellent customer service to internal departments and external customers
Assist customers in identifying and ordering the correct parts
Handle customer inquiries, issues, and returns with professionalism
Handle technician parts needs in a timely manner
Ensure proper parts handling to book in service repair orders that require a part (or a part on order)
Necessary Skills and Abilities:
Superior communication skills (verbal and written)
Superior organizational skills
Ability to work closely interdepartmentally
Knowledge of automotive parts and accessories
Exhibit excellent Customer Service
Positive attitude
Valid drivers license
Ability to multitask
Education / Experience:
High school diploma
Parts department experience is a valuable asset
