We are looking for a Sample Maker to join a fashion manufacturer in Montreal!
Responsabilities:
- Work with different types of fabrics, including knits and wovens.
- Select appropriate trims, zippers, threads, and other components
- Finish, press, and trim garments.
- Check samples for quality and accuracy.
- Report any issues to the Patternmaker.
- Work with the Design and Pattern teams.
- Complete samples on time.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in sample making or sewing.
- Experience with different types of garments such as dresses, pants, jackets, skirts, and sportswear.
- Experience using overlock, coverstitch, blind stitch, buttonhole, and snap machines.
- Ability to read basic English Tech Packs and sewing instructions.
- Positive attention to detail.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good organization and time management.
