About Us:
Sunrise Financial Inc. is a growing financial consulting firm committed to providing seamless and transparent mortgage solutions. We are looking for a detail-oriented, experienced Underwriter to join our dynamic team and play a key role in the loan assessment and approval process.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review mortgage files and assess borrower eligibility based on lender guidelines.
- Evaluate credit reports, income documents (NOAs, T1s, Pay Stubs), property appraisals, and other documents.
- Ensure that all conditions are satisfied before final approval and funding.
- Communicate with agents, bankers, and document processing teams for missing or additional information.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and turnaround speed on all applications.
- Provide recommendations to management on high-risk or exception files.
- Stay updated with industry regulations and lending policy changes.

Qualifications:





- Previous underwriting experience in mortgage or finance sector (preferred).
- Strong understanding of residential mortgage documentation and lender guidelines.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and team coordination abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
