About Us

The Sitting Room is a licensed and accredited, medically supervised Ketamine-assisted Therapy clinic dedicated to providing safe, ethical, and compassionate care for individuals seeking healing, personal growth, and improved mental health outcomes.

Our interdisciplinary team includes physicians, nurses, and social workers who work collaboratively to create a safe and supportive environment for clients undergoing ketamine-assisted treatment.

We believe that exceptional care requires more than technical competence. It requires presence, compassion, self-awareness, humility, and the ability to accompany another human being through moments of uncertainty.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Registered Nurse who combines strong clinical judgment with emotional intelligence, authenticity, and a genuine interest in supporting individuals through transformative experiences.

This position involves medical monitoring, client support, collaboration with our interdisciplinary team, and clinical documentation.

While previous experience in ketamine assisted treatment is an asset, it is not required. We can teach clinical procedures and protocols. What we cannot teach is the depth of personal work, self-awareness, emotional maturity, and authentic presence that clients deserve and that this work requires.

- Obtain and document vital signs and make clinical observations.
- Recognize and respond appropriately to changing clinical conditions.

- Support a safe,

respectful, and trauma-informed treatment environment.

Personal Qualities

Successful candidates will demonstrate:

- Emotional maturity and the ability to regulate themselves during challenging situations.
- A non-judgmental attitude toward people from diverse backgrounds, beliefs, identities, and life experiences.
- The ability to remain calm, grounded, and compassionate when others are experiencing emotional distress.
- Comfort working in environments where outcomes may be uncertain, and experiences cannot always be predicted.
- The ability to pivot gracefully during periods of ambiguity while maintaining client safety and professional boundaries.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- The ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
- Respect for client autonomy and the unique healing journey of each individual.
- Highly competent documentation and clinical writing skills

What Makes This Work Different

Ketamine-assisted treatments are not about fixing people. They are about creating the conditions in which healing can happen.

Our most effective team members are individuals who can sit comfortably with uncertainty, remain present without needing to control outcomes, and support clients with compassion, professionalism, and respect. They understand that sometimes the most key contribution they make is not what they do, but how they show up.

If you are a nurse who values both clinical excellence and human connection, we would love to hear from you.
