British Columbia Rapid Transit Company Ltd. (BCRTC) maintains and operates the Expo and Millennium SkyTrain Lines from our central facilities in south Burnaby. Our services connect downtown Vancouver to the cities of Burnaby, New Westminster, Coquitlam, Port Moody and Surrey. Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
The competencies for the position would be acquired through completion of a Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Social Sciences, or a related discipline, and minimum four (4) years of related experience supporting employee experience programs, engagement initiatives, events, learning coordination, or people-focused initiatives, preferably in a unionized or public-sector environment. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Solid understanding of employee engagement, employee experience, organizational culture, inclusion, recognition, belonging principles and learning principles.
Strong written and verbal communication skills,
with the ability to prepare clear employee-facing communications, presentations, and program materials.
Strong organizational and project skills, including the ability to manage timelines, logistics, competing priorities, and multiple program deliverables.
Demonstrated discretion and confidentiality are essential, including the ability to handle sensitive engagement survey data, employee feedback, private information, and confidential organizational materials appropriately.
Ability to create welcoming, inclusive, and engaging experiences for employees across different teams, work locations, and employee groups.
Demonstrated ability to support events, workshops, engagement sessions, campaigns, and employee-facing initiatives.
Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office programs including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and summarize program feedback, participation data, and other information to support reporting and continuous improvement.
Sound problem-solving and judgment, with the ability to escalate issues appropriately.
Demonstrates initiative and can work independently while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional partners.
Other Information
Recruitment Process: An applicant will be required to demonstrate their suitability for this position by meeting the minimum level of qualifications and experience in order to be invited into the selection process. A standard interview format will be used including general, scenario and behavioural descriptive interview questions.

Rate of Pay
The salary for this position ranges from $65,600 - $98,400 per annum. Actual salary offered will be based on education, experience, skills, and qualifications as they relate to the role.

We want to ensure our offer will align with your strengths considering experience, skills, and internal equity to offer a fair and equitable salary. The Total Compensation Package, which includes Extended Health, Dental, Transit Pass and enrollment in the Public Service Pension Plan as well as other employment offerings will be discussed in detail as your application progresses.
