CATERING twelvefifty is looking for a Banquet Cook to join our team. This is a excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with a team, takes pride in their food, and can keep things moving when the kitchen gets busy.
What You'll Be Doing
- Preparing and cooking food for weddings, parties, corporate functions, and other catered gatherings
- Following recipes, portion guides, and twelvefifty food standards
- Helping with prep, plating, and presentation
- Keeping the kitchen clean, organized, and running smoothly
- Working closely with the kitchen and service teams to make sure everything is ready on time
- Maintaining proper food safety and sanitation standards
- Helping with setup, breakdown, and other kitchen tasks as needed
What We're Looking For
- Previous cooking or kitchen experience is an asset
- Comfortable working in a busy,
sometimes fast-paced kitchen
- Reliable, organized, and able to work well with a team
- Takes pride in the quality and presentation of their food
- Able to follow recipes and instructions consistently
- Food Safe certification is an asset
- Must be available to work evenings and weekends
