About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Buyer to take ownership of purchasing, inventory replenishment, and cost optimization.
This is a hands-on role where you will manage supplier relationships, help prevent stock shortages, and negotiate competitive commercial terms to support our high-volume operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Purchasing & Replenishment: Work closely with Sales and Marketing to monitor inventory levels and proactively prevent stockouts.
- Negotiation & Cost Optimization: Negotiate pricing, payment terms, volume discounts, and other commercial terms with existing and new suppliers.
- Supplier Management:
Maintain strong relationships with long-term suppliers while improving delivery lead times and reliability.
- Process Improvement: Analyze historical purchasing data, establish effective reorder practices, returns follow-up action, and track key procurement metrics.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain.
- Proven experience in supplier negotiation and high-volume purchasing.
- Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP or purchasing systems.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Professional working proficiency in Spanish to communicate directly with core suppliers.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for supplier visits and business development.
- Familiarity with modern procurement technology, AI-powered tools, or digital analytics for supply chain optimization.
