Apple Blossom Flowers is a creative, community-focused floral shop in Orono, Ontario. We specialize in stunning arrangements for weddings, events, and everyday celebrations. Our mission is to make life beautiful through flowers, and we’re looking for a talented Floral Designer to join our team!

Key Responsibilities:Operations:

- Maintain a high level of professionalism with both customers and fellow team members.
- Stay updated on company systems, policies, and procedures by collaborating with the management team.
- Provide polite and professional support to customers, addressing inquiries and requests for additional information.
- Assist in intaking customer orders and execute their requests by designing floral arrangements that meet or exceed expectations.
- Complete daily customer floral arrangements, packaging, and preparation for delivery/pickup.
- Organize and sort daily deliveries by date.
- Manage daily inventory waste and accurately transfer data into daily KPI measurement totals.
- Consistently meet required goals, deadlines, and quotas.

People, Policies & Practices:




- Adhere to the policies of Apple Blossom Flowers Inc.
- Suggest updates to policies and procedures to improve efficiency and operations.

Interpersonal Skills & Contacts:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and fellow team members.
- Remain professional and courteous with customers at all times.
- Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications:
- Knowledge & Experience.
- Floral designer accreditation.
- Proficiency in Hana POS or similar floral design software.
- Robust communication and customer service skills.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Ability to listen and understand customer needs.

Working Conditions:
- Part-time (28-35 hrs weekly) position with the potential for extra hours as required.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit, walk, stand, climb stairs, lift, and carry items up to 10kg.
