Location: On-site
Reports to: Health and Safety Manager
Position Summary
This position provides on-site first aid and medical services, supports employee health and wellness initiatives, and plays a key role in disability management and return-to-work programs. The role ensures compliance with occupational health and safety legislation while supporting a safe, healthy, and productive workplace.
This position requires flexibility as shifts may vary based on operational business needs. This role is required to begin on the day shift. Candidates must be available and willing to transition to the afternoon shift as the role progresses.
Hours are:
· Days: Monday -Friday 7:00am- 3:30pm
· Afternoons: Monday – Thursday 4:00pm-2:30am.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop, implement, and support Health and Wellness program activities.
· Assist in disability claims and coordinate return-to-work programs in compliance with regulatory requirements.
· Proactively support injury prevention through employee education and provide input on safety, health, and wellness issues.
· Provide on-site first aid and medical services to employees.
· Support all departments in achieving operational and safety deliverables.
· Prepare and submit reports, proposals, records, and other required documentation in a timely manner to Health and Safety Manager.
· Adhere to all corporate policies, procedures, and programs, including Health & Safety, Quality, and Human Resources practices.
Education & Experience Requirements
· Occupational RN in good standing with the applicable regulatory body or ACP.
· Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply Occupational Health and Safety Codes and related legislation.
· Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

· Support Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR) – reduction and prevention
· On-time Response to medical incidents
· Support provided to Safety Team and Production Team

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
