Star Tires Ltd. is seeking a skilled and experienced Tire Technician with a minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in the tire industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality tire services on passenger cars and light trucks while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, balance, rotate, and repair tires for passenger cars and light trucks
- Diagnose, reset, and repair Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS)
- Perform specialty tire services, including studding, retread, and run-flat tire work
- Ensure all work meets company standards for quality and safety
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of proven experience as a Tire Technician
- Strong knowledge of tire equipment, passenger and light truck tires, and wheels
- Proficient in using tire and wheel service equipment safely and effectively
- Ability to diagnose and repair TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems) (if applicable)
- Physically capable of lifting and handling tires/wheels up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Commitment to workplace safety and maintaining a clean, organized work area
- Valid driver’s license (preferred or required)
