Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Shipping and Receiving Associate with forklift experience, where your energy and precision will drive our warehouse operations forward! In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the inbound and outbound shipments, utilizing your forklift skills to load, unload, and organize goods with safety and accuracy. Duties

- Safely operate forklifts, including reach trucks, to load and unload trucks, pallets, and containers in compliance with safety standards.
- Manage shipping and receiving processes by verifying shipments against purchase orders using warehouse management systems (WMS), MRP (Material Requirements Planning), or AS400 systems.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment while ensuring proper packaging to prevent damage during transit.
- Utilize order pickers and other equipment to efficiently select items from inventory for order fulfillment.




- Maintain organized storage areas by stacking pallets correctly and ensuring easy access for future retrievals.
- Assist in inventory control through regular cycle counts and updates within warehouse management systems.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely loading/unloading of goods, supporting overall warehouse distribution goals.

Experience

- Proven experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, or other warehouse equipment in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS),
- Previous warehouse experience involving shipping & receiving, shipment organizing, and order fulfillment is essential.
- Basic math skills for counting inventory, measuring packages, and verifying quantities accurately.
- Knowledge of e-commerce logistics processes including packaging standards and order processing procedures.
- Ability to load & unload trucks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing inventory records and documentation.
