This position requires the individual to work with the sales team to meet customer requirements by means of customer’s sample evaluations, demonstration and presentation of the technical solution in front of technical and non-technical audiences. Some short travelling will be required.
Responsibilities:
- Develops a broad technical knowledge of machine vision and controls system.
- Perform machine vision /control feasibility studies and provide application appraisals.
- Maintain Lab in our Toronto office.
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales support to the customer as necessary.
- Help with inside sales tasks to grow business in the territory.
Skills and Experience:
- Must have a good understanding of the PC environment.
- “C” language programming experience is preferred.
- Some PLC programming experience is preferred.
- Experience with Servo's and machine vision camera's is an asset.
- Must be self-directed and self-motivated; able to take daily assigned tasks and complete them with minimal direction or assistance.
- Must have very good English communication skills, personable & professional.
Education And Work Experience Required:
- Degree or Diploma in an engineering field such as Automation, Mechatronics, EE, ME, Optics or equivalent.
- 1-5 years of work experience in the industry

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
