Job description:

Job: Shipper/Receiver

Week: Monday through Friday

Shift Time: 9:30am to 6:00 pm

Duties/Responsibilities:

- Prepare Shipping & Receiving orders.
- Participates in Area safety, ergonomics, & housekeeping
- Participates in Continuous Improvement - Area 5S
- Interacts with customers & accepts daily deliveries
- Maintains electronic & manual shipping & receiving documents
- Delivers samples to the production laboratories several times per day
- Participates in the long term storage of client samples & determination of final disposition
- Communicates directly with our local leadership team
- Performs all routine shipping & receiving tasks as needed, including proper packaging, labeling & storage of supplies & samples.

Requirements:

- Forklift Experience/ License - Counterbalance, Reach and Electric Pallet Truck




- Driver's License - Class 5
- High school Diploma or GED.
- Ability to implement safe handling procedures for hazardous materials.
- Effective time management skills, organized & ability to excel in a rapid paced environment.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs with the help of coworkers
- Must be able to climb ladders
- Forklift experience is required
