Your Impact

GeoSolv is looking for a dedicated Quality Control Technician to join our Engineering team on a 3 month contract with the possibility of extension.

In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for ensuring the consistent quality and integrity of our ground improvement systems across active project sites. You’ll play a key role in ensuring that all field installations meet engineering specifications, construction standards, and safety regulations. Your commitment to detail, quality, and collaboration will support safe, high-performing outcomes on every job. This is a field role where you will work on and travel to construction project sites across Ontario, with most project sites in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

What Success Looks Like

- Comply with all Health & Safety policies and actively contribute to a culture of safety on site.
- Oversee, audit and document the field installation of GeoSolv’s ground improvement designs and built Geopier elements.
- Conduct inspections and tests on soil, concrete, and other construction materials to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Prepare reports on field installations, test results, and provide quality assurance information and insights.
- Collaborate closely with project supervisors, engineers,



and construction teams to address quality issues and support effective solutions that meet quality control standards.
- Ensure all quality control procedures and protocols were strictly followed throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide basic layout as required using GPS.
- Other duties that may be assigned.

What You Bring

- College diploma or university degree in Civil Engineering.
- Hands-on experience or robust interest in soils and ground improvement geotechnical work.
- Comfortable with working outdoors around heavy equipment in varying weather conditions.
- Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving skills.
- Team-oriented with good communication and collaboration abilities.
- Vehicle and valid G driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Ability to travel to sites across the GTA & Ontario.

Application Process





We’re excited to learn more about you! Here’s what you can expect:

1. Apply Online – Submit your resume highlighting your experience, qualifications and interest in the role.

2. Initial Review – Our team will review applications and connect with selected candidates for a short 15-30 minute introductory call.

3. Interview(s) – Meet with the Project Manager and People & Culture Manager to discuss your skills, experience, and career goals.

4. Predictive Index Assessment – Final round candidate(s) will be asked to complete a Predictive Index Assessment – a tool that brings more insight into what drives behaviour and a candidates problem solving abilities. The PI system is rooted in over 60 years of research and is designed to predict workplace behaviour effectively.

5. Final Stages – the successful candidate will have a glimpse into the operations on site and visit site with our Vice President.

6. Offer & Onboarding – We’ll welcome you to the team and provide a thorough onboarding experience to set you up for success.

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 44.0 per week
