Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent knife skills, and experience in fine dining or restaurant environments. This role involves preparing high-quality dishes, ensuring food safety standards, and contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests. The Line Cook will work closely with the kitchen staff to deliver delicious meals efficiently and consistently.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in menu planning and meal presentation to enhance guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety protocols
- Handle food with proper hygiene practices, including food handling and storage
- Support kitchen operations during busy service periods, including catering events if applicable
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal preparation and service
- Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies as needed




- Ensure all dishes meet presentation standards and are served promptly

Requirements

- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings, preferably in fine dining or catering environments
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of culinary techniques
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and food industry standards is highly desirable
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Previous dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus but not required
- Knowledge of food service operations, kitchen experience, and catering is advantageous

Pay: $17.60-$25.00 per hour
