Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems, including Micros POS, to process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and food preparation areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Provide friendly, attentive service to customers, answering questions and upselling menu items when appropriate
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt order fulfillment and customer satisfaction
- Assist with food handling tasks such as portioning, wrapping, and storing ingredients properly
Requirements
- Previous food service experience or restaurant background is required
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with POS systems
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and order calculations accurately
- Understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper kitchen hygiene
- Good time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
- Kitchen or food industry experience is advantageous but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
