We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mason to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping and building structures using a variety of materials, primarily focusing on brick, stone, concrete, and other masonry products. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of durable, aesthetically pleasing, and high-quality projects. Duties
- Measure, cut, and lay bricks, stones, blocks, and other masonry materials with precision and attention to detail
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate project execution
- Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely to assist in material placement and site preparation
- Mix mortar or concrete according to project specifications and apply caulking for sealing joints or gaps
- Collaborate with team members to plan sequences of work for efficient project completion
- Conduct restoration work on existing structures,
ensuring structural integrity and aesthetic quality
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite while adhering to safety protocols at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction or masonry work with a strong understanding of building techniques
- Proficiency with hand tools such as trowels, chisels, hammers, and levels
- Ability to operate power tools and heavy equipment safely and effectively
- Knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics for accurate project implementation
- Experience with renovation or restoration projects is highly desirable
- Familiarity with caulking techniques for sealing joints and preventing water infiltration
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
