Role: Senior Accountant
Location: Canada – Fully Remote
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $110,000–$120,000 CAD + Bonus

What We're Looking For

- CPA designation
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong experience owning or playing a significant role in the full month-end close
- Strong understanding of accruals, deferrals, cutoff and revenue recognition
- Experience working across multiple areas of the accounting and finance function
- Comfortable being highly hands-on with transactional accounting
- Able to operate independently with limited oversight
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Interested in taking greater ownership and growing into a Controller-level position

Nice to Have

- Experience within a SaaS or software company
- SaaS revenue recognition experience




- Experience working within a startup, scale-up or smaller organization
- QuickBooks Online experience
- Experience owning or supporting an annual audit
- Financial modelling and rolling forecast experience
- ERP or financial-system migration experience
