We are interested in finding a support assistant to partner with a man in the carrying out of his egg delivery business. The hours are every other Saturday, between 10 am and 2:30 pm. Ideally, we hope to connect with someone who is outgoing and has a valuable sense of humour and who appreciates the young man’s own sense of humour, love of music and farm country.
Responsibilities:
Accompanying the man to two farms for egg pick-up
Partnering with drop-off to customers
Having lunch out together
Overview of customer orders/payment
Communicating with customers regarding delivery schedule and any changes
Requirements:
Consistent availability every second Saturday
Current Vulnerable Sector Check or have a willingness to update
Class G license and reliable vehicle with proof of insurance
Experience supporting and partnering with individuals with disabilities and related educational background (DSW, SSW or other) is an asset
This is an independent contract with an hourly amount of: $22.00/hr + $0.50/km mileage.
Pay: $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5.0 per week
