The successful applicant will support the instructor by providing assessments of ESCI 302-010 students’ evidence of learning (assignment) submissions.
Primary tasks will include providing assessment feedback in consultation with the instructor. Specifically,
- evaluating students’ evidence of learning (assignment submissions) using established assessment guidelines and criteria
- providing detailed written or audio-recorded feedback for students about their evidence of learning
- timely communication with the instructor about any issues encountered during assessment tasks
- other assessment record keeping duties may be assigned by the instructor
- completing assessment and feedback tasks within 10 days following submission due dates, unless otherwise discussed with the instructor
Position Requirements
The successful applicant will:
- be a current graduate or postgraduate student in the Faculty of Education, UofR
- be familiar with UR courses and Google Drive platforms (an asset)
- be familiar with Saskatchewan school contexts (K-12 teaching experience is an asset)
- preferably possess an interest in and commitment to education for social & ecological justice. Experience with Science Education, Environmental Education, and/or Climate Change Education would also be valuable.
Physical Demands Pay Grade As Per CUPE 2419 Salary Range As per the CUPE 2419 Collective Agreement Status Term Work Hours
A maximum of 35 hours of work to be discussed with the instructor.
