Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Skilled Laborer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a knowledge / background in various construction trades. This role involves working on diverse projects that require problem solving , physical activity, and attention to detail. The Skilled Laborer will contribute to the successful completion of construction and renovation projects, ensuring safety and quality standards are met throughout each phase of work.

Responsibilities

- Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings to execute project plans accurately
- Operate hand tools, power tools and machinery safely and efficiently
- Install rough carpentry items, washroom accessories, door hardware, flooring, minor drywall patching, and other building components as specified in project plans
- Maintain a clean and organized work site to promote safety and efficiency




- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure working environment for everyone on site

Requirements

- Experience in construction-related roles
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools and specialized trades such as carpentry
- Ability to perform carpentry work
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks including lifting heavy materials
- Commitment to safety standards and quality workmanship at all times

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.78-$35.00 per hour
