We are currently seeking a committed Dishwasher to assist in the day to day maintenance of our main kitchen location at 551 Bryne Drive in Barrie ON

Term: Part – Time (20-30 hrs per week)
Reports To: Head Chef
Nature & Scope
Working alongside the kitchen team, the catering Event Support will be responsible for washing and maintaining the equipment and dishes at the Cravings Catering Kitchen Facility, with a focus on hygiene, detail, and organization. The team member will also assist in the logistical operations of the facility.
The Ideal Applicant should:
Feel at home in high-volume, fast-paced environments – Dishwashing experience is an asset
Possess strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Be hygienic, organized and committed to following through with assigned tasks
Be productive and prepared. Always ahead of the game.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain kitchen tools and operational tools in an around the kitchen and catering storage facility
- Maintain Dishwashing Machine through cleaning and regular routine maintenance
- Ability to assist with Kitchen Prep as needed in the Cravings Kitchen and onsite events
- Assist in inventory management
- Perform opening and closing duties of the kitchen as instructed
- Communicate respectfully and effectively with all team members across the organization
- Contribute to a clean, sanitary and professional work environment
- Garbage/recycling removal as required
- Complete any other duties necessary to ensure the success of the operation
- Be committed to tasks and shifts as scheduled by management
Requirements:
Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on the business’ and event-specific needs
Must be eligible to work in Canada
Ability to bend, lift, and carry 50 pounds
Ability to stand and be mobile for an excess of 8 hours
