Summary of Position:

The Fort Frances Physicians Group is looking to fill the position of a casual Registered Practical Nurse, who under the direction of the Physicians and Business Manager will primarily be responsible for the following, but not limited to, essential duties.

Essential Duties:

· Rooming, triaging, and preparing patients for their appointments with the Physician.

· Complete paperwork and tasks as assigned by Physicians.

· Accurately taking messages for Physicians.

· Possess knowledge of immunization schedules and the ability to administer immunizations

· Miscellaneous tasks as requested and directed by Business Manager

Qualifications:

· Certified as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)

· Current liability coverage as required by CNO (proof to be provided)

· Qualified and up-to-date CPR & BLS Training, an asset

· Exceptional communication skills- written, oral and telephone

· Excellent computer, time management and organizational skills

· Ability to effectively and efficiently work in a quick-paced individual/team-based environment
