We are looking for a Casual Pharmacist to join our growing team.
We are seeking someone who is patient-focused, clinically minded, and enjoys working in a modern community pharmacy where quality of care comes first.
Cunard Pharmacy & Clinic is a locally owned, independent, patient-focused pharmacy located in downtown Halifax at 1329 Lower Water Street. We’re committed to providing personalized care, meaningful patient relationships, and opportunities for pharmacists to practice to their full scope.
Availability required:
- Approximately one shift per week
- One weekend per month
- Additional availability is an asset but not required
What You'll Do
- Provide exceptional, patient-centered pharmacy care
- Practice to your full scope of practice in Nova Scotia
- Conduct minor ailment assessments and prescribing
- Provide medication reviews and medication management
- Administer vaccinations and injections
- Support travel health services and chronic disease management
- Perform Point-of-Care testing, including HbA1c, lipid and strep testing
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals
- Support day-to-day pharmacy operations while maintaining high qualified standards
What We're Looking For
- Licensed Pharmacist in good standing with the Nova Scotia Pharmacy Regulator
- Kroll experience highly preferred
- Immunization certification
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Passion for patient care and relationship building
- Interest in practicing to an expanded scope
- Community pharmacy experience is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
