Located at 725 Coursol Road, Sturgeon Falls, ON, Canada, West Nipissing General Hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team. Key Responsibilities:

- Perform venipunctures and other blood collection procedures with precision and care.
- Ensure accurate labeling and handling of specimens to maintain integrity.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety and infection control protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients to alleviate concerns and provide clear instructions.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support patient care and laboratory operations.
- Document and input patient information accurately into the hospital's database.

Requirements/Qualifications:

- Completion of a recognized phlebotomy training program or equivalent experience.
- Certification as a Phlebotomy Technician is preferred.




- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced workplace.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using laboratory information systems is an asset.

Compensation: $30.84 - $35.15 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
