Overview
We are hiring a Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic to service semi-trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment. This is a hands-on role for someone who is comfortable on big iron and takes pride in keeping fleets running.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems on heavy trucks
Service air brake systems and perform safety certifications
Repair trailers, hydraulics, and PTO systems
Carry out preventive maintenance schedules
Use diagnostic scan tools and read schematics to chase complex issues
Weld and fabricate as needed
Maintain a clean, safe shop environment
Qualifications
Proven experience on heavy trucks and trailers
310T license required
Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
Welding experience preferred
HVAC system knowledge is a plus
Able to perform heavy lifting
