We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented CNC Programmer to join our manufacturing team! In this role, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and optimizing CNC (Computer Numerical Control) programs to produce high-quality precision components. Duties
- Develop and write CNC programs with MasterCam 2025 using HAAS controls for various machining operations on CNC milling machines and CNC lathes
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models created in SolidWorks or other CAD software to generate precise machining instructions
- Optimize machining processes by adjusting tool paths, speeds, and feeds to improve efficiency and quality while adhering to lean manufacturing principles
Requirements
- 5 years of proven experience with MasterCam, programming CNC machines using HAAS controls or similar systems
- Robust mechanical knowledge of machining processes, tooling,
and equipment such as CNC milling machines and CNC lathes
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files created in SolidWorks or other CAD software
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and perform basic math calculations for measurements and tolerances
- Familiarity with measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, and hand tools for quality checks
- Knowledge of manufacturing best practices including lean manufacturing principles and safety protocols
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting machine issues
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team environment
