Duties
- Continuously monitor CCTV footage to identify unusual or suspicious activity across multiple surveillance points
- Conduct regular surveillance patrols of the premises to verify security measures are in place and functioning correctly
- Respond promptly to security alerts or incidents by assessing situations and coordinating appropriate actions
- Maintain detailed logs of surveillance activities, incidents, and any irregularities observed during shifts
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary to address security breaches or emergencies
- Enforce access control protocols by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying theft or vandalism attempts and reporting findings to management
Requirements
- Prior experience or training in law enforcement, security operations, or related fields is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques, CCTV systems, and security protocols
- Ability to remain alert for extended periods while maintaining focus on monitoring equipment
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail in identifying suspicious behavior or activities
- Clear communication skills for reporting incidents accurately and efficiently
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
