Job Description:
As a Travel Consultant at Maritime/LeGrow's Travel, you will be the face of our organization, responsible for delivering outstanding customer service, providing expert travel advice, and helping our clients create unforgettable travel experiences. Your role will involve:
Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service by actively listening to clients' travel needs and preferences, offering expert advice, and assisting them in planning and booking their trips.
- Sales: Use your sales skills to promote and sell travel packages, accommodations, flights, and other travel-related services, exceeding sales targets and contributing to the success of the branch.
- Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest travel trends, destinations, and industry offerings to provide informed recommendations to clients.
- Booking: Utilize travel agency booking systems (Apollo or Sabre) to make reservations, create itineraries, and handle all aspects of the booking process.
- Problem-Solving: Assist clients in resolving travel-related issues, such as changes in plans, cancellations, or unforeseen complications, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable travel experience.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate travel documents, including tickets, visas, and travel insurance.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues and share knowledge to provide the best travel solutions to clients.
Qualifications:
- 2 years experience in travel, hospitality, or customer service is required.
- 1 year travel agent experience is required.
- Solid sales and customer service skills with a passion for exceeding customer expectations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing customer needs and industry trends.
- Knowledge of Apollo or Sabre booking systems is preferred.
- A positive attitude, a keen interest in travel, and a commitment to lifelong learning.
- Personal travel experience.
