Marvel Signs & Display is looking for a hands-on Fabricator and Creative Production Assistant who enjoys turning ideas into finished products.
This role is ideal for someone who likes building, assembling and figuring out how things fit together. The work will include product assembly, custom fabrication, prototypes, 3D printing and other creative shop projects. If you enjoy retro gaming builds, PC builds, making things and experimenting with creative technology, you’ll fit right in.
What You’ll Do
- Assemble products, components and custom projects
- Safely operate common hand and power tools
- Measure, drill, fasten, sand, finish and prepare components
- Read basic drawings and understand how parts and assemblies fit together
- Assist with prototypes, 3D printing and creative shop projects
- Help with hands-on builds, fabrication and occasional installations
- Use SketchUp and Adobe Illustrator when preparing layouts or production files
- Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy
- Help solve practical production and assembly challenges
- Contribute ideas about how projects should be built and improved
- Keep tools, materials and work areas clean and organized
What We’re Looking For
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Good mechanical understanding and assembly skills
- Able to accurately use a tape measure
- General maker knowledge and an understanding of how materials and components fit together
- Dependable, organized and committed to producing quality work
- Curious, resourceful and willing to learn
- Able to work independently and collaboratively
- Interest in retro gaming, PC builds, 3D printing or creative technology
- Experience with SketchUp or Adobe Illustrator is an asset
- Experience with fabrication, woodworking, plastics, cabinetry, signage or electronics is an asset
You do not need to know everything when you start. We are looking for someone who is naturally good at building things, enjoys solving problems and takes pride in their work.

You have to model it in SketchUp, prep the cut files in Illustrator, and then make sure it can be 3D printed or fabricated.
