We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Denturist to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will craft high-quality dentures, partials, and other prosthetic appliances, ensuring they meet precise specifications and patient needs. Duties
- Fabricate complete dentures, partial dentures, crowns, bridges, and other removable prostheses using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software and traditional laboratory techniques
- Interpret dental impressions, models, and prescriptions to accurately produce prosthetic devices
- Collaborate closely with dentists and dental assistants to ensure proper fit, function, and aesthetics of restorations
- Utilize laboratory equipment such as articulators, waxers, presses, and finishing tools to refine appliances
- Maintain meticulous records of each case, including materials used and fabrication steps taken
- Ensure all prosthetics adhere to industry standards for quality control and patient safety
- Stay updated on advancements in dental materials and CAD technology to enhance fabrication processes
Requirements
- Proven experience in laboratory work related to dentures or dental prosthetics; laboratory experience is essential.
- Strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures used in denture fabrication
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to oral health and dental treatments
- Previous experience working in a dental office environment or supporting dental teams is a plus
- Skilled in dental assisting tasks such as taking impressions or handling patient records is advantageous
- Ability to operate laboratory equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and precision
