At Carrey Education Center, we provide one-on-one tutoring and group classes designed to take learning to the next level. We offer academic support across all grades and subject areas. We are looking for tutors who are passionate about teaching and coaching and who can help students develop a positive and lasting relationship with learning. Strong interpersonal skills, motivation, and creativity are essential.
We are currently seeking experienced German Language Tutors/Instructors to provide private instruction to students. Tutoring responsibilities include explaining and teaching subject matter, adapting instruction to individual student needs, and assessing students’ knowledge and skills on an ongoing basis.
Qualifications
- Graduate, professional, Ontario Certified Teacher, or Teacher College candidate
- Experience teaching German as a second language
- Experience working in a German-language teaching environment is an asset
- Experience working with elementary and/or secondary students is an asset
- Available on weekends; a flexible schedule is preferred
- Native or fluent German speaker is an asset
