Join our team within the Rotating Equipment Services division in Canada as a Journey-person Machinist to help us take Sulzer Rotating Equipment Services (Canada) Ltd. to the next level.

In this role, working under limited supervision, you will:

- Operates a Manual Horizonal Boring Mill or Vertical Turret Lathe on a daily basis.
- Sets up and operates manual machine tools under limited supervision.
- Ability to work in team. Learn and mentor with Machinists.
- Read and interpret drawings, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
- Manufacture or repair product on time as defined by direct supervisor and production schedule.
- Work towards improved methods for higher quality and improved costs.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

- Completion of a Journeyperson Certificate as a Machinist.
- Working knowledge and ability to effectively set-up all or most of the following machines: Engine Lathe, Milling Machine, Radial Drill, Horizontal Boring Mill, Vertical Boring Mill.




- Working knowledge of tool geometry and applications.
- Working knowledge of effects of feeds and speeds on all materials.
- Ability to work overtime as required.
