About the Project
SIM Property Management Inc. and Mayfair Living are seeking an experienced painter or painting contractor for a large-scale interior and exterior painting project across our residential apartment buildings and retirement home in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.
This is a significant project and we are looking for someone who can commit for the duration, deliver high quality work, and work efficiently with minimal supervision.
Scope of Work
- Interior painting of common areas including hallways, stairwells, lobbies, and common rooms
- Painting of unit doors — uniform colour scheme across all floors
- Exterior painting as required
- Surface preparation including cleaning, patching, sanding, and priming before painting
- Application of primer and paint — walls, ceilings, trims, and doors
- Ensuring clean and tidy worksite at all times
- Coordinating access with building management and residents
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial or residential painting
- Experience with large-scale multi-unit or multi-floor projects preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented
- Must be available for the full duration of the project
- References from previous commercial or residential painting projects required
