Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals looking to further develop their skills in the electrical field while working under the guidance of experienced electricians. As a 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Electrician, you will assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, perform pipe bending and conduit installation, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

RESPONSIBILITY & DUTIES:

- The role of the apprentice is to learn under the tutelage of their experienced colleagues as they execute their assigned tasks, learn both the practical installation practices, and theory of electrical installation/ wiring, hone time management skills, decision making, and build good relationships with their colleagues.
- As the Apprentice works their way through years 1-4 they will be responsible for teaching and mentoring other apprentices.
- Setup, complete, work, and execute their assigned task efficiently, and to meet quality standards.
- Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and architectural drawings, specifications, and applicable code to determine wiring layouts.
- Pipe bending

REQUIREMENTS:

- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is normally preferred, additional on-the-job [OTJ] experience can be substituted for education.
- Language: Bilingual (English/Spanish/French) is preferred, but not required.
- Licensing/Registration/Certification: A valid current driver’s license.
- Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: Familiar with construction materials, practices, and procedures.
- Environmental: This position works outdoors at a job site and typically includes physical labor and environmental distractions such as changes in climate and temperature. Physical hazards may be present, as typical on construction sites.
- Travel:



This position requires constant travel to different worksites and as such normal auto hazards will apply.

Pay: $29.40-$33.60 per hour
