Duties

Assist licensed plumbers in installing and repairing plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
Prepare work sites by organizing tools, materials, and safety equipment needed for daily tasks.
Use hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, and pipe cutters to support installation processes.
Operate power tools safely to cut pipes, drill holes, or assemble components as directed.
Read blueprints and schematics to understand project layouts and specifications.
Support with basic carpentry tasks related to framing or securing plumbing fixtures.
Help with routine maintenance of plumbing systems and troubleshoot minor issues under supervision.




Maintain a clean work environment by organizing materials and disposing of debris properly.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of basic plumbing principles.
Familiarity with carpentry techniques and construction practices.
Knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus for supporting related installations.
Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in construction environments.
Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout work.
Ability to interpret schematics and assembly instructions effectively.
Welding experience is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is appreciated.
Understanding of maintenance procedures for plumbing and related systems.
Good physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
