Responsibilities
- Coordinate and assign trucking loads using transportation management systems to ensure timely deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and warehouse staff via multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette to relay instructions and updates.
- Monitor shipment statuses, update tracking information, and troubleshoot issues related to freight or delivery delays.
- Maintain accurate data entry records.
- Analyze transportation data to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements within the supply chain.
- Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to coordinate freight movements and resolve logistical challenges.
- Ensure compliance with shipping & receiving protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements throughout all dispatch activities.
