Position Overview:

090 Builders Group is seeking an experienced and skilled Telehandler Operator to join our 090 Project Team. The successful candidates must show experience in the lumber and building product industry as well as motivation in a production environment and be willing to go the extra mile when needed. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety.

Skills and Qualifications Required:

· Telehandler Certification

· Telehandler experience – carrying heavy loads from one place to another.

· Operate a telescopic handler or boom lift to move materials

· Load and unload materials from a transport truck and hoist them to the top of a construction site.

· Safely load and unload trucks, flat decks, containers

· Inspect and maintain the telehandler equipment to ensure proper functioning

· Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating the telehandler

· Proficient in operating a telehandler and a forklift and other material handling equipment





· Lumber or building materials experience is an asset

· Safety focused

· Solid working knowledge of a busy job site

· Attention to detail

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

· Organized and able to prioritize tasks

· Understand how to take direction, and follow through

· Physically fit with the ability to lift 50lbs repetitively

· Work in all types of weather

· Focused on maintaining a clean and safe work environment

· Ability to work alone and as part of team

· Communicates effectively with all members of the Project Team

· Lift and move heavy materials and equipment as needed

· Reports any issues or concerns to the appropriate Site Lead

· Adhere to project timelines and deadlines

What you will bring to the Role:

· Proven experience

· Telehandler certification – 1-year minimum experience

· Excellent communication and teamwork skills

· Must have your own PPE: hard hat, CSA approved work boots, and appropriate weather-related work clothes.
