Scarborough Village Physio & Chiro is Seeking a Physiotherapist!

Scarborough Village Physio & Chiro is an award-winning clinic in the Scarborough neighborhood.

At Scarborough Village Physio & Chiro, we take an interdisciplinary holistic team approach to patient care. Alongside the patient, the doctors and multiple therapists work together as one to set goals and monitor progress for the best recovery. We are seeking a Physiotherapist to walk into an already busy caseload.

Scarborough Village works closely with the Medical Doctors at Kingston-Markham Clinic (located in the same building as the clinic!) Scarborough Village sees a range of patients from Extended Health Benefits, MVA, WSIB, to Private pay patients.

Job Title: Physiotherapist (Registered or Resident)

Experience: New graduates are welcome to apply.

Report To: Clinic Owner and Clinic Director

Qualifications:

- Presently registered and in good standing with the College Of Physiotherapists of Ontario
- Professional Liability Insurance

Ideal Candidate:

- A minimum of one years’ experience (new grads are welcome)
- Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy Certification (asset, but not required)
- Vestibular Rehabilitation Certification (asset, but not required)
- Exceptional customer service abilities and communication skills
- Caring and compassionate attitude





Job description:

- Assess patients’ and clients’ range of conditions
- Diagnose, assess and treat the condition
- Develop on-going treatment plans for patients
- Supervising specialist therapies and modalities
- Providing education and advice about exercise and movement
- Evaluate the patients progress
- Write reports to document patient progress
- Work in coordination with all clinic staff

Job Types: Permanent, Part-time, Full-time

Part-time hours: 20-30 per week
