Join our dynamic retail team as a Seasonal Retail Sales Associate and bring your passion for customer service and sales to a fast-paced and exciting environment!

In this role, you will be one of the friendly faces of our store, helping customers enjoy a positive and memorable shopping experience. You will provide product information and recommendations, assist with purchases, support merchandising and inventory activities, and help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming sales floor.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner.
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash and other payment methods in accordance with company procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming sales floor.
- Stock shelves, replenish merchandise, and assist with inventory and restocking activities.
- Assist with receiving and unloading shipments and organizing incoming merchandise.
- Support merchandising efforts by organizing displays and maintaining attractive store layouts.
- Ensure products are properly organized, displayed, and accessible to customers.
- Manage time effectively and assist customers promptly during busy periods.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support daily store operations.

Skills and Qualifications

- Previous retail, customer service, cashiering, or sales experience is an asset.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable attitude.




- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and processing transactions.
- Experience using POS systems and handling payments is an asset.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced and high-volume environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Multilingual abilities are an asset, particularly the ability to communicate in English and another language to better serve a diverse customer base.

Physical Requirements

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
- Ability to frequently bend, reach, stoop, and move throughout the store.
- Ability to regularly lift, carry, and move merchandise.
- Ability to occasionally move heavier items with assistance or appropriate equipment.
- Ability to assist with receiving and unloading shipments, including safely lifting and moving boxes and merchandise.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and processing transactions.
- Ability to safely handle and move merchandise using proper lifting techniques and available equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
