SECONDARY TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION / INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

This part-time continuing position currently consists of 4 blocks of Technology Education (which may include Woodwork 8-12, Metalwork 8-12, CADD 8-12, and Robotics 8-12), and 1 block of Information Technology. The successful candidate for this position must possess current academic and professional preparation to teach secondary school Technology Education and Information Technology.

A demonstrated commitment to implement all aspects of the BC curriculum, including a competency and inquiry-based, big ideas approach to teaching and learning. A demonstrated ability to build rapport and engage students from diverse backgrounds, a wide variety of learning needs, and styles. The applicant should be willing to participate in team-oriented planning and assessment within the Technology Education and Information Technology Departments.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate must have current academic and professional preparation as well as teaching experience and be qualified to teach Technology education and Information Technology at all secondary grade levels.
